Episode 257 - KFC Crocs, AMC's New Deal, and the Ellen Degeneres Show

from Mind Gap

Shocked it hasn't happened earlier, Doug and Justin talk about the story of the creation of KFC branded and scented Crocs, which are now sold out! If fried chicken-scented footwear isn't your thing they dive into the new deal between AMC and Universal which ends this months-old feud between titans. They argue the merits of AMC getting a cut of direct video money out of the deal and Justin rants about the disingenuous pro-streaming comments made by AMC in regards to the deal. They follow that up with a discussion about the toxic workplace developments coming out of The Ellen Degeneres Show. This leads Doug on a walk down memory lane as he relates his own toxic workplace experience working for a seedy hotel. Things are wrapped up with a throw-down between two true titans: The live-action Will Smith genie from Disney's Aladdin versus Shaquille O'neal's boombox dwelling genie Kazaam. The results of this titanic battle may shock you. Be sure to follow MindGap on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts/shop for fried food footwear.
