Episode 257 - Learning Contentment

John D. Rockefeller became one of the wealthiest men in history. Yet when someone asked him, "How much money is enough?" he reportedly answered, "Just a little bit more." His response reminds us that contentment can never be measured by what we possess.The Apostle Paul discovered a better way. In Philippians 4:11 he wrote, “...I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Contentment is not found in having everything we want. It is found in trusting the God who has promised to supply our needs.Our world constantly tells us that happiness is just one purchase, one promotion, or one achievement away. Yet those who know Christ understand that lasting joy comes from Him, not from circumstances.Today, thank God for His goodness, trust Him with your future, and discover the peace that comes from a contented heart.
