Episode 259: Eric Earley of Blitzen Trapper

from Roadcase Podcast · host Josh Rosenberg

I’m celebrating Indie folk-rock this week to kick off this year with Eric Earley of the renowned and critically-acclaimed band Blitzen Trapper!! Eric is a true icon and superb songwriter with a knack for weaving unique tales developed through his years of travel along the road to self-discovery. Eric’s song Furr — considered to be one of the finest folk tunes of all-time — brought Blitzen Trapper to prominence and earned them a record deal back in the late 00’s.  I talk to Eric about how he mines the myriad adventures along his life’s journey for lyrical content. We traverse the roads less traveled as Eric talks to me about his Buddhist learnings, as well as his current work as an advocate for the unhoused. Eric’s sense of humor and unique perspective on the spiritual world as he sees it makes this an amazing and must-listen interview! For more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comOr contact Roadcase by email:  [email protected] theme music:  "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer
