Episode 259 "Relentless Warrior" Ft. Blake LaCaze

from Third Coast Podcast · host Third Coast Podcast Productions

On this weeks show, Joe sat down with Louisiana-born fighter Blake (Big Boy) LaCaze, a towering presence in the ring who's battled across boxing, bare-knuckle, and MMA. From a young age, Blake felt the fire for combat sports and began training seriously by the age of 13. That early passion evolved into a full-blown career that’s taken him into some of the grittiest arenas in combat and most notably the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). Where he has built a name for himself with his fearless approach and raw power. In our conversation, Blake opened up about his start in traditional boxing, what drove him to step into the unforgiving world of bare-knuckle, and how each fight, win or loss has shaped his mindset. With over 20 pro boxing bouts, multiple BKFC appearances, and a recent debut in MMA, his story is one of resilience, heart, and a lifelong commitment to the fight game. Whether he's chasing a win or rising after a fall, Blake continues to push forward always with the same passion he had when he first stepped into the gym as a teenager. This episode was recorded in Oakdale, Louisiana.
