Episode 259: Resistance is Futile

Just a few weeks after House of Mouse CEO Bob Iger conceded they may be pushing out Star Wars content "too much to fast" Disney XD's newest animated offering Star Wars: Resistance has landed. As is their new tradition, the Regular Joe's review the pilot episode and weigh in with their thoughts. Is it a worthy successor to Clone Wars and Rebels? Is it even intended to be? As one might guess, opinions are mixed. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into a lunar orbit another film has been released about the US space program. Dave and Tod both checked out First Man in its first weekend, and while the film has failed to draw audiences, at least two viewers liked what they saw.
