Episode 259: Sintons' Trainees launch Paddle the Bann challenge 2022

from Sintons LLP's Podcast · host Sintons LLP

An ambitious fundraising challenge which had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 is now being launched by Sintons’ trainee group. The challenge scheduled for 2020 – Paddle the Bann, a two-day 58km canoeing expedition from Lough Neagh in Ireland to Coleraine on the coast of the Atlantic – had to be postponed after falling victim to pandemic restrictions. However, it has now been revived for 2022 by the 11-strong trainee group, which comprises graduate trainee solicitors and solicitor apprentices. The 2022 Trainee Challenge will raise funds for Sintons’ staff charity The People’s Kitchen, which will be the focus of the firm’s fundraising for two years. In this podcast, David Pritchard, Peter Jennings, Charlotte Johnston and Charlotte Gunn discuss the upcoming challenge.
