Episode 259: "Thumbs Down!"

We kick things off with the Lakers being sold again, including the latest on Jeanie Buss and whether she's actually giving up her piece of the franchise. Then we discuss Russell Westbrook's retirement, his legacy, and the bigger question of whether NBA legends like Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Allen Iverson were pushed out of the league before they were ready. Plus, Skip Bayless has some thoughts on Westbrook's Hall of Fame case. The NBA Christmas Day schedule is officially loaded, so we pick the matchup we're most excited for. Then we jump into the NFL preseason, discussing what we're watching for from our favorite teams, Jaxson Dart's early visit to the blue tent, and the ongoing Deshaun Watson vs. Shedeur Sanders conversation. In Rule Breakers, we get into Stephen A. Smith receiving the thumbs-down award from the NABJ, Jayden Daniels sending a cease-and-desist letter to LSU Nick Sirianni reportedly using ChatGPT to help connect with his players, and Claressa Shields continuing to dominate with another TKO victory. And, of course, Beav and Felix discuss how terrrible (or not) the movie 'Obsession' was. Enjoy!
