Episode 26: A Modern Companion To Love Game In Eastern Fantasy 【Moonlight 月光变奏】 Esther Yu 虞书欣 Ryan Ding 丁禹兮 Yang Shize 杨仕泽

When Chinese drama “Moonlight“ 月光变奏曲, a romantic comedy set in the publishing world, first came out in 2021, Elle loved it while Juniper gave it a pass. Watching Ryan Ding and Esther Yu in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy 永夜星河 recently sparked Juniper’s renewed interest in the show. Although she finds it a tad long and some bits less than stellar, it turned out to be a pleasant romp overall and a great complementary drama to watch with Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. Listen to Juniper and Elle discuss the good and bad in this episode of the podcast.
