Episode 26: Becoming the hero of your story
from The Courage Revolution · host Jessica Love
This week Stephany Ann and I discuss her journey of becoming the hero of her own story after removing her self from and surviving 2 marriages with narcissistic men. She states how she grew up with healthy relationship examples, worked as an Attorney and an advocate of domestic violence victims, yet was not able to see that she herself was in an abusive relationship. She discusses how important it is to acknowledge the patterns and the trauma bond then to shift out of victimhood to take your power back and learn what lessons those relationships came to teach you. Stephany states that she was able to find the opportunities within her struggles. Our struggles are the initiation to our greatness. Stephany was able to shift out of victimhood to become the hero of her story and wishes to inspire others to do the same. She is a mother of 3 boys, and is committed to raising them to become strong, respectful, and compassionate leaders. Stephany Ann is an extraordinary individual, a former attorney and recipient of the governor's award for advocacy with survivors of domestic violence, who triumphed over narcissistic abuse. With two marriages to narcissists behind her, she harnessed the transformative power of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to guide others on their path to healing and personal growth. Prepare to be inspired by her journey. Stay tuned for her upcoming book and other speaking engagements where she shares her remarkable story.
