Episode #26: Doc Has A Webcam - Vishal Vasanji

Another week of digital, and the future of a digital service we thought couldn't be done via the web. This week I am joined by Vishal Vasanji of Relief Telemed. A telemedicine app that lets you schedule and attend a virtual doctor's appointment from the comfort of where ever you are. While the launch for this platform wasn't scheduled to be released until mid 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has sped that process up to making Vishal bring the platform live in the early part of the year. Vishal shares his vision for the app and where the idea came to him. We walk through the user experience of the process as well as the Dr. experience. With the gulf south moving a little slower than the coasts, seeing telemedicine have a spike in both acceptance and use is promising. Although we are not experiencing ideal times, having services such as Relief Telemed gives us the tools we need to be successful.
