Episode 26: Genesis Chapter Sixteen - The God Who Goes Looking

Genesis 16 is filled with complicated people and sin-soaked choices. Every character in this chapter tastes deep sorrow and real loss. Each one, in some way, lives under the weight of unfair circumstances. Yet out of that hurt, each also inflicts harm. Against this backdrop, we see how sin weaves its way through God’s chosen family—touching everyone, sparing no one, not even an Egyptian servant girl. And it is into this dark, fractured story that another character steps forward: the God who goes searching, the God who hears, the God who sees. Still, the question Genesis has been asking lingers: In whom will they place their trust? In whose name will they find refuge?
