We’re gonna be talking about how to go about not being defined by the version of yourself that everybody else knows you as. The one thing about healing and recovery is that it’s all about letting go of the past versions of yourself as far as how you see yourself, and how other people see you. I’m not gonna lie and say that that’s not going to be easy to do, but at the same time it’s necessary in order to become the new version of yourself that you want to become. A lot of people only know you from the version of yourself that they remember you from, but not the version of yourself that you are now. And a lot of people will try to use that past version of you in order to use it as a weapon against you.
