Episode 26: Light The Beam!

from The Polytickin' Podcast · host Sefa, Marcus, and Lance

Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! A workplace "accident" at Marcus's job helped reveal a sign that he's getting older. The Pod Boys relive their own accidents they had growing up. They swear the show is going to be the death of them. Things take a turn when they start speaking on the mother in American Samoa who filed a complaint with the Department of Public Safety over an alleged assault on her son from one of his teachers. Corporal punishment is not the wave...or is it? Later they discuss one of the more recent tweets to go viral within the community, wondering what opinion on Pacific Islanders would have the mob at their throats. Marcus gets passionate about financial literacy and Sefa wants to do away with the "we're different" mentality when really, we are one and the same. Plus, colonizers came up with those names and who the hell invited them? They suck. Marcus then asks one question: Honesty, respect, communication, intimacy. One's gotta go. Which one?
