Episode 26 - The Q-Unique Interview

The first thing you’ll hear in this podcast is Q-Unique’s “One Shot” instrumental, the lead single off his first solo project, Vengeance is Mine, released by Uncle Howie back in 2004. That was the first time I’d heard Q as a solo artist and while I was always a fan of his work with The Arsonists, this was a new way of hearing him. Over the years, Q has continued reinventing himself, from linking with Fieldy from Korn and recording and performing with Stilwell and Kings Bounty to going back to the boom-bap sound with The Brown Bag All-Stars with Blaq Coffee. Today is no different, as Q released The Mechanic with beats chosen by the one and only Vinnie Paz, as well as Medina Bridge, a rap/rock mash-up with Iron Myke. In this interview, we talk about Q’s career going back to his Nomaad days, how releasing old Arsonists music went, how Q stays motivated today, and much more. Make sure you hit the links to support Q’s music, subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Stitcher, and read the books. My latest book, the Chopped Herring Interviews, also features Q, breaking down his Nomaad days and how that led to him joining The Arsonists. twitter.com/quniquemusic twitter.com/seven3zero instagram.com/mr_q_unique instagram.com/seven3zero Cop The Mechanic and other Q-Unique music: https://q-unique.bandcamp.com/ Cop The Chopped Herring Interviews: Volume One: www.amazon.com/Chopped-Herring-R…s-1/dp/172188632X Cop the other books: linktr.ee/seven3zero Subscribe on iTunes: itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/wegoi…d1205045550?mt=2
