Over the course of this chat you will hear us talk about how The Beastmaster originated as an adaptation of a series of fantasy novels and then ended up warped to become a competitor to Conan the Barbarian, how it failed at the box office but gained a significant cult following on home video and thanks to its ubiquity on cable TV, and how it is difficult to tell who this movie exactly is for.
