Episode 264: Christ in You is Heaven on Earth

Often times, some of my learners use negative remarks and derogatory phrases when they find it challenging to regulate their emotions. So, for instance, when a learner says “f…king hell!”, my response will be - Language! it’s glorious heaven”. Sometimes explaining to the learners the implications of their words. By the way, if you’re wondering why my learner(s) swears. I teach learners with SEMH needs. So, today’s theme - Christ in You, is Heaven on Earth As stated in Col 1:27 “…Christ in you is hope of glory…” Do you believe with your heart that Jesus laid his life for you? Do you confess Him as your Lord and Saviour? 
 Then Jesus lives in you because you identify with His death and resurrection. 
 Listen to what Apostle Paul said- “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” 
 So, how can we truly experience and enjoy heaven, while we are here on earth? By allowing Christ to be formed in us. We need to allow Christ to be formed in us.
 “My children, with whom I travail again in birth until Christ is formed in you.” Galatians 4:19. 
 Christ lives in us. However, He wants to be formed in us in a definite way by growing in us. Every single day, we need to allow Him to grow and be formed in us. As we do, Christ will be able to express Himself more fully through us in our daily lives and we will truly experience heaven on earth in every circumstance we face. Let us pray Father we thank You for the gift of Your Son Thank You Jesus for becoming like us so that we can be like You Thank You for the grace You have made available for us to be like You.
