Episode 266 - Benjamin Kintisch

Benjamin Kintisch initially got in touch with us early last year via a podcasting Facebook group and discussed having him join the show! After picking up the conversation again in recent months we were happy to make that happen this week! Benjamin is the creator of “Life Review: A Hospice Musical” that serves to reflect on the emotional moments of Hospice care through the eyes of the character Rabbi David and the patients he visits. This is a one man show that Benjamin has been running for over a decade and we enjoyed getting to dive in more about it! He discussed his initial love for theater and music as a song writer and how he managed to combine that with his own work in Hospice in the mid 2010’s. We also touched on the perception of death specifically as it’s viewed in the United States and the ways he’s been able to see success while touching on this topic in such a unique and enlightening way for others to receive.
