Thus there's the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of Hosts. I am the first and I am the last. Besides me, there is no God, and who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people, and the things that are coming and shall come.
Let them show these to them. Do not fear, nor be afraid. Have I not told you from that time and declared it? You are my witnesses.
Is there a God besides me? Indeed, there is no other rock. I know not one. Have you ever built your confidence on something that turned out to have no power at all?
In Isaiah 44, God reminds us people that idols, whether made of wood, gold, or even our own ambitions, can never save or sustain us. He declares, I am the Lord who made all things. This chapter calls us to remember who truly formed us, redeemed us, and called us by name. As always, be blessed and enjoy.

You know, we wasn't too crazy. You know, we are too busy and found some solace in the chaos that is this world. How's your week man? It was long, bro.
Oh, man, long week. It's that week, it's that week where you got plenty of work and plenty of meetings and you got some serious decisions to make, you know, make or break decisions. And I just thank God to be at a place where it was a successful week. You know, I know, I don't know the long term income, but I know ain't nothing for a flat.
You know, you know, things went well. You know, it wasn't one of those things where it's like, oh, I embarced myself or big mistake. Things of that nature. It was hard even from the work life violence perspective, bro, because I still got school, schools all the way on the bar, you know, sports, sports and full effect.
So much just everything, all that everything was pulling my attention this week. I tell you, I can't worry about football and touch on football. I feel like a real I feel like a CEO this week is a skill multi tasking. I was just going to see with like people at the highest level, they got to be able to do.
You got you got four or five things that's really pending and individually these could be very worrisome, but you can't let it spill into other things. Like you can't let it consume you down too much because you still have other things to do. But yeah, man, that's thankful for the solace. I guess some rest and get back to it next week.
I feel like my week was busy, bro. See a couple hours ago, when we called me, say, I talk to you all week. I say, wait, when we I talk to myself, I'll be saying boy, just being that guy in a week, really. Yeah.
Even last night, pretty much wake up until 12 o'clock, I went around to be to take a break to go grab dinner yesterday. But just had a couple big deadlines all due at the same time. So just like I pushed to get everything in, and the obligations to the client were promised. And I didn't set those obligations.
But I'm just the one in the back and trying to fill up. Yeah. When people signed a check, they can't cash. Yeah, but you got to be the one to cash.
I got to be the one to make sure I guess. Yeah. But God is good. God is faithful.

Amen. Sometimes I feel like if I was to say these things, people would think I cocky broke. If I was to, if I was to, if I was to, if I was to in a speech and I'd be like vindicate me, oh Lord, if I have walked in my integrity, I have trusted in the Lord, I shall not slip. You know, examine and prove me.
Try my mind in my heart. You know what I'm saying? Like, I live in right. I live in right.
It's almost like when someone brag about, obviously he wasn't bragging. But if someone brags about living right, that's saying as a testament that you truly ain't really living right because your heart is in the wrong place in a way. But you know, I feel like the truth is the truth. Sometimes in the Bible, like I see things that kind of like challenge the way we as Christians live, you know, it was, it was something that was like a month ago.
That was so polarizing, bro. Oh, yeah. You know, people was talking about, you know, if you were Christian and you, you know, some people was like, bro, you were Christian, you, you, you, you support Christ and you have serious beliefs, then you should be, you know, memorialized to such shit. You know, if any of you are in town, you pass them and other people feel like, you know, you, you are Christian, your fruits should reflect that.
You know what I mean? And they're saying, like, I have walked in my integrity, like, but I want you to, I want you to vindicate, like, I want you to prove me what I say. Because I know what I say in this fox, but I want you to make that, to make that evident. And people like David, even Joseph, even has a car to make it more applicable to what we just finished reading, they have challenged, I said, I said, it was my manager, they have challenged God in their righteousness.
Like they have stood and say, Hey, what is happening to me or what has happened is not does not fit that the punishment don't fit my lifestyle. They don't fit the crime, the proverbial crime, which isn't a crime here. But what I'm receiving is not a representation of who I am, you know, what is due to me because of the way I live. And I just always find that so because, bro, if I get there, I know obviously my good at my bottom, I don't know my bad as much as I think I know, but I know the good, I know the things that I really try my best.
I mean, nobody is looking not to do, you know, certain things I just do not do. And I think that could be a slippery slope. If I start to say, Hey, bro, you you you solid, bro, you you you pay your tithes, bro. You know what I'm saying?
You don't judge people in that way. You know, you try not to make people feel by like trying to spare people feeling like you try to do all these things. Like it's a part of me that made me feel like bro, I didn't humble, but like the minute you start talking like that, the minute you start to feel proud. Oh, you know, that's I think that's the slippery slope that the fire seats was on because they did so much good works.
And they felt like they were good, but it's like they allowed their heart to slip away. And so like stuff like this kind of challenges that mindset because it's obviously what's the what's the spirit behind it or like what's the intention behind it. David is trying to say God, people are looking at me. I think he's saying people are looking at me or the perception of me is that I'm one way, but you know that I'm right.
Just not vindicate me, you know. And so yeah, I also like we just asked him go out to like examine him and prove him like, you know, try like it's not just being like, Hey, I know I like it's not just saying like, yeah, I'm I'm I have integrity. He's saying, no Lord, you could test me. Test my ways, test my heart, test my mind and see that I'm walking in truth.
So I like that because like so much time, so he says, okay, I'm doing this right. But when someone starts to press you get you get all defensive, but they would say, no, I'm inviting you to know me vindicate me, but no proof. Explore me and poke a hole in my argument. If I walk in a fake shimmy, that's like a correct it.
You know what I'm saying? If I ain't if I ain't being loving like this loving and kindness, if I'm not innocent, like let me know that way I'm not even being being being what am I trying to say? I'm a being like ignorant. So what I'm doing, you know, I'm saying ignorant blindsided.

of the same theme. We're going to talk about redemption again and God redeeming his people. So let's look at the beautiful sets of verses. So let's hit it.
Yet here now, Oh Jacob my servant, an Israel home I have chosen, thus say is the Lord who made you informed you from the womb who will help you. Fair not, Oh Jacob my servant and you just are on whom I have chosen, but I will pour water on him who is thirsty and floods on the dry ground. I will pour my spirit on your descendants and my blessing on your offspring that they will spring up among the grass like willows by the water courses. One will say I am the Lord.
Another will call himself by the name of Jacob. Another will write with his hand the Lord's and name himself by the name of Israel. Kind of, kind of cool. Yeah, I was looking up Shasharon because I did I did do this earlier this week and they were saying it just means the upright one.
But I thought this was the only time that it was used. He was using the army too, right? Yeah, it was used like three times in Duodalonomy. But yeah, like one of the times that it was used.
So it really just means the upright one, but you know, they utilize it to say how they utilize it to say how they grew. Basically like, let me pull up the exact exact. He's doing 32, that's 15. So you know I just think it speaks to like restorative power and demeanor of God whereas you might have this on and off but just because you know we fail and just because God corrects us doesn't mean that we are he holds that grudge. You know people have that assumption of God like he's this big grudge holder but when you really look at the details and even if you just put yourself in those shoes you know God is way patient like very patient. It's almost about parenthood and you know my daughter is gonna do things that upset me and I'm gonna puff the punish off and she's probably gonna be upset by being punished but it's like you just have like a you just have amnesia after that like this once it's over now we put it behind us and we don't remember I know I've been punished plenty times as a kid but I can't name them like I can't even really think like it'll have to be like a big significant punishment or something really bad that I did for it to even stick in my memory but I think I think that's a similar situation to what God like obviously there's ups and downs but I ain't holding that grudge with you forever but as a dunts when people you don't know cross you and this might be the first day I meet you and you do something select to me and I just I never forget that now like you know what I mean like I might hold that against you or I might at least judge you for it and so yeah you know just go to show the difference regardless and as people you know the thing I like is um I get re-reversed first three I will pour out my spirit I will first rest for my will pour out my what I'm who was thirsty and flood and floods on the dry ground I'll pour my spirit on your descendants and my blessings on your offspring and it shows that like God just ain't really trying to to just simply just bless them he trying to give them a over pouring of blessing that it goes even go for it as a generational blessing exactly so like goes beyond them but he's blessing their descendants and their offspring you know what I'm saying like and I think that's powerful like again like in the future like at least they see the name of what we can have asked I think and that's what God truly truly wants to do for us and his people you know what I'm saying and then it's like when you get this blessing from the Lord like in verse five right but like essentially just saying that you want to become more like God in four different ways you know what I'm saying one will say I am the Lord another will call himself by the name of Jacob another will write with his hand the Lord's another will leave himself by the name of Israel you can see the words here in italics that were like inserted right so like even like the third one other will write with his hand or with his nectalics you go back on like in the original Hebrew in this case like you like one can almost could be saying like you know one will essentially will inscribe the Lord in on your hand is and and it is powerful like you know this blessing from the Lord wants to make people identify with Christ you know what I'm saying and I think that's how it should be as well not not saying all in Christ because he's blessing me but just being one just want to take on the identity of Christ calling yourself like living the lifestyle like and actually being proud and bold about it not trying to be timid with it you know I'm saying like actually being servants of Christ and I think that's that's powerful we keep going verse six does say is the Lord the king of Israel and his redeemer the Lord of hosts I am the first and I am the last besides me there is no God and who can proclaim as I do then let him declare it and set it in order for me since I appointed the ancient people and the things that are coming and shall come let them show these of the same themes being repeated in this chapter again you are my witnesses is there other God before me show me let me know I am the beginning and the end the alphan you may get you know I'm saying a world where no nowhere I mean we live in America on this side of the world it's like if you make that sounds as long as like you send it at this at the other at the others right and I mean it should it's the same God it's only one God that's the situation and I refute that because obviously when you get deep in the book and in the same book he highlighted serving who we were sending you know what I'm saying and all these different prophecies point up to Jesus and the things that he did and then when we get to Jesus you know people worship in Jesus God saying this is my son but then when Jesus say when God say he's the son of God say Jesus is his son but when Jesus say I am the son of God the Father says oh he's being blaspiced mind God God himself they wasn't there the baptism mind they wasn't there they wasn't there they wasn't there baptism mind I can give them that because I don't think I truly don't think some of them was they don't think they was there but I'm just like to say you the son of God and see they that wasn't recorded I mean I wasn't you know well well recorded and publicized yet you know I'm saying no they didn't know about it exactly I get them all out but we things are just so they are so um they just they're so captivating to your senses bro that you feel like you have been a spiritual experience and some people even use that analogy but it's like well I just I just just went to that restaurant but I was a spiritual experience but I feel like I leave my body eating or listening to music you know what I mean like even in sports bro like I had people say yeah bro I was on my body that game bro you know what I mean like just just not I ain't saying if they meet they have a deep I mean or not but from the surface level to me it's just like bro that was almost like a I was so euphoric was a spiritual experience I was off it you know and so I do believe that you go and you see and these people I named Benny and he's real corn artist bro imagine when it's the play imagine when it's the entire christ bro you know you have but you have a been in a situation where behind the scenes you're like bro when I get in this situation I could do that but I'm going like that bro then you get in the situation you're like you know this is alright you know like you really stick to your guns for you exactly because not a pressure on you're like oh you see shepherd and he shall perform all my pleasures saying to Jerusalem you shall be built and to the temple your foundation shall be laid amen amen and amen and even here we end with you know some forcing and prophecies right because again in context right this is saying to the people about to be or have currently been taking into captivity and in Babylon right and again this is a message of hope yeah
