Episode 27: A Royal Priesthood

In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth continue to discuss the Easter season and the scriptures that are provided through the lectionary. As we flow from last week, we are called to be sheep. This calls us to believe in Jesus. This is never easy, but requires for us to rely on Him for our all. As we do this, God does something amazing within us and to those around us. We become a holy nation, a royal priesthood. Sometimes, the result of this can be tough. Stephen, following the example of Jesus, which came from belief in Him, ultimately gave his life for that which he believed. His example shows us what it truly means to follow and believe in Jesus. We do it unto death knowing and hoping in something more. We can only imagine the recounting that Paul did down the road as he watched the killing take place.
