Episode 27 Addiction: What Makes a Difference on the Journey to Sobriety

In this episode, Heather Smith gives a raw discussion about her addiction and her journey to sobriety.  She does not hold back on how easy is was for a stay at home mom, who is all about her family, to slip into addiction.  The path she walked to sobriety was not easy.  Also discussed is the pain of seeing her child follow in her footsteps with an addition of their own.  She is honest about grappling with the guilt of owning her actions taken during her addiction.  Heather is a beautiful soul and is brave to come forward in the hopes of empowering others.  For Christy, the process or awareness of being a medium grew organically out of knowing there was more out there and wanting to feel more connected.
