Episode 27 - #BubbleLife

This week on Man-to-Man, Andy and Liam talk about the protocol for players when first entering the bubble, and what #bubblelife actually looks like, as all 22 teams are officially settled into their hotels. We notice that some players have not fallin in love with their new hotel accommodations, comparing some rooms to a motel 6 and food to airport meals. Meyers Leonard and Patrick Beverly are two guys who seem to be enjoying themselves the most as Leonard is seen shot-gunning beer cans on Instagram and Beverly showcasing his never-ending collection of white tees. The Brooklyn Nets are a team that lost four players due to COVID, and seem a bit empty handed until their new additions Jamal Crawford and Michael Beasley clear a 6-7 day quarantine period, and then will be allowed to practice with the team. Liam’s hot take of the week consists of Crawford scoring 50 points in the first regular season game against the Orlando Magic. Not only will Crawford score 50 points once he says, but three times throughout the rest of the postseason. Capping off the episode, ESPN has suspended star reporter Adrian Wojnarowski after he replied “F--- you” in an email to U.S. senator, Josh Hawley. It has been reported that Woj will be suspended for two weeks by ESPN. The Mavericks have chosen to use the word, “Equality” on the back of their jerseys once the season restarts, but superstar players Lebron James and Dwight Howard have decided to use their last names instead. James felt like none of the key messages resonated with his overall mission, and Howard expressed the importance of his last name and what it means to himself and his family. What is Lebron’s mission? Winning a championship it seems to be.
