Helene Greenberg is the Founder and Executive Director of Triangle Vegfest. She organized the inaugural Triangle Vegfest in October 2014. Prior to organizing the Vegfest, Helene lived a vegan lifestyle for 2 years and a vegetarian lifestyle for over 20. She created Triangle Vegfest to help educate the Triangle community (North Carolina) about easy ways to reap the health benefits of a plant-based diet, provide a marketplace for vegan-friendly businesses to promote their offerings, and encourage local restaurants to offer vegan menu options.
