Episode 27: Jimmy Hoffa, Blackened Ranch, & A Cat vs The HOA

from Madigan’s Pubcast · host Kathleen Madigan

Kathleen opens the show with a Corona Familiar tall boy and announces that she is in mourning over the trade of her beloved Kolten Wong to the Milwaukee Brewers. She places a black veil on her Fredbird beer stein and although she is appreciative of her Cardinal’s recent acquisition of superstar Third Baseman Nolen Arenado, she feels that a nod to Kolten is warranted. She then introduces the Termites to her Buc-ees Truck Stop rubber ducky. A QUEST FOR RANCH: “Do you have any Ranch?!” As her Termites know, Kathleen LOVES Ranch dressing, and in her hunt to find the most delicious Ranch available she takes the lead from Termite Tyler August who tells her to try Popeyes Blackened Ranch sauce. She loves the spicy taste of this dip, and therefore deems it in her Top 3 best dips. “BAD GOOD FOOD”: In her quest for new and delicious not-so-nutritious junk food, Kathleen tries Hershey’s Chocolate Lava Cake Kisses. Kathleen always prefers salt to sweet, and opts for another sip of beer and some chicken ☺ UPDATE ON KATHLEEN’S QUEEN’S COURT: Kathleen provides an update on Queen Dolly Parton, who just finished a pre-Super Bowl interview with the Associated Press. Dolly tells the AP why she won’t “skip the line” to get the vital COVID-19 vaccine that she donated $1M to research for, discloses why she turned down the Presidential Medal of Freedom twice, and then announced the launch of her new perfume “Scent From Above.” IRISH GANGS vs EUROPOL: Kathleen advises listeners that an Irish gang has been recently added to the Europol list for forging negative COVID-19 tests for European travelers. Members of the Rathkeale Rovers gang, a group of Irish criminals operating in several European countries, are using a mobile phone application to “manually falsify test results” which are then sold onto travelers for hundreds of Euro each. Kathleen compares this activity to that of the Peaky Blinders, which is one of her favorite shows. WALTER MERCADO’S PUERTO RICAN ESTATE FOR SALE: As a follow up to Episode 1, Kathleen tells listeners that famed astrologer Walter Mercado’s Puerto Rican estate has been put on the market for $395,000. MORE AMERICAN REVOLUTION: Kathleen provides an update on higher-profile members of the ongoing “New American Revolution,” including Kyle Rittenhouse who aligned with the Proud Boys and shot and killed 2 protestors during the Black Lives Movement protests. She then updates listeners on the legal status of. Jennifer Ryan, the Texas real estate agent who took a private jet to the US Capitol riots, and reveals that Julie Jenkins Fancelli, heiress to Florida-based Publix Supermarket chain, was the top donor to the January 6th MAGA rally in Washington DC. ROBINHOOD VS THE STOCK MARKET: As a follow up to Episode 26, Kathleen gives an update on the Reddit stock traders’ efforts to hold onto the value of the over-inflated GameStop stock. In an effort to protect Millennials from being accused of all bad deeds of mankind, Kathleen breaks down the definition of Millennials, Generation X, Generation Z (or Zoomers), Boomers, and The Silent Generation. IMPORTANT THINGS INVENTED BY WOMEN: Kathleen reads a list of important things invented by women, including the electric refrigerator, windshield wipers, wi-fi, and most importantly: BEER. ANIMALS MOST LIKELY TO KILL YOU BY STATE: Kathleen continues with the segment Animals Most Likely to Kill You (By State), as reported by the Center for Disease Control. If you live in Minnesota, keep your eyes open for deer while on the road, in Mississippi deer are also the most apt to kill you, and poisonous snakes should be noted in Kathleen’s home state of Missouri. CAT MADIGAN vs THE HOA: Kathleen tells a recent story about her brother Patrick’s pet cat, Bruce, and a letter that their Home Owner’s Association sent to his house regarding Bruce’s recent behavior in the neighborhood. MISSOURI LAWMAKER’S FAKE COVID CURE: Kathleen reads an article about Republican Patricia Ashton Derges’ defrauding of the Missouri public, when she attempts to sell fake stem cell treatments claiming they are a cure for COVID-19. TEXAS ISSUES AMBER ALERT FOR A DOLL: Kathleen takes a drink of beer and laughs out loud when she reads an article out of Texas describing a recent incident where 3 emergency Amber Alerts were issued for citizens to keep a watchful eye out for fictitious doll, Chucky, the evil possessed doll from the horror movie series “Child’s Play.” GOOD NEWS FOR CHUBBY TERMITES: Kathleen comforts those who admit to having gained weight during quarantine that a recent study out of Ohio State finds that those who enter adulthood at a normal weight but start to gain pounds later in life actually live the longest. JIMMY HOFFA’S WHEREABOUTS: Kathleen provides an update as to Jimmy Hoffa’s apparent burial site, including that the mob boss is said to be encased in a metal barrel tomb in New Jersey. News outlet Fox Nation has found what appears to be multiple large buried pieces of curved metal, that could indicate steel drums arranged on top of each other, that fit the description of where Hoffa was buried in a 55-gallon steel drum, with additional drums piled on top of his, in 1975. WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEK: Kathleen tells listeners to watch HBO’s “The Lady and The Dale,” and “The Murders At White House Farm.” See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
