It may seem counterintuitive that adhering to a strict plan for spending will ultimately lead to the freedom to spend your money – and time – in ways that are most important to you, but it’s true.  The keys to budget success are to implement the MREA’s Budget Model early in your business, keep it simple, plan annually, review regularly, and stick to it.  Whereas the Economic Model helps you understand where your money is coming from, the Budget Model explains what happens to that revenue between the time you receive it as gross revenue and keep it as net income. Its purpose is to highlight where you should focus your attention to reap the highest dividends.Mark’s vast experience both inside and outside the real estate industry will provide great value and a unique perspective to our leaders of tomorrow.In his current role as a Regional Area Director of Keller Williams Realty Carolinas Region. Mark is responsible for ensuring Leadership Development, Growing the Region, Strategic Planning, Regional Development and Sustaining Profit.Prior to joining Keller Williams Realty in Cleveland, OH in 2003, Mark was a Certified Public Accountant and spent over 20 years in various industries holding senior financial management positions.  He launched his career with Keller Williams Realty as the Team Leader of the Greater Cleveland, OH Market Center growing the office from 20 agents to 100 agents and becoming highly profitable in two years.  In 2005 Mark was named the Team Leader of the Hilton Head Island, SC Market Center and grew that office to over 100 agents prior to replacing himself and assuming the Operating Principal role in 2008.  He then launched his personal residential real estate business and from 2010 on has consistently placed in the top 8% of residential real sales associates in the Hilton Head MLS. In addition as a Keller Williams Approved Trainer, Mark teaches classes throughout the nation on various topics including Business Planning and various financial topics.Mark’s vast experience both inside and outside the real estate industry will provide great value  and perspective to our youth.Mark is also the father of five daughters rangeing in age from 28 to 8.  He as a hands on perspective as to the needs of todays youth.
