Episode 27 Physical Intimacy
from Try Not To Overthink It · host Try Not to Overthink It
Hey guys it's RJ, Unique, and Kalhil! In today's episode we're going to be discussing Physical Intimacy. Regardless of if you're a woman or man. Heck, regardless of your sexual orientation we all know that physical intimacy with our partners can be an opportunity to deepen, strengthen, and reinforce our affection and love. It sometimes can even be a stressor in our relationships. When you share yourself with your partner through physical affection or sex that is an opportunity for us to connect on a deeper level than words alone. Physical intimacy is about touching and closeness of our bodies. In a romantic relationship it could include things like hand holding, hugging, kissing, and most importantly sex. A relationship doesn't have to be romantic or sexual to have physical intimacy. Something simply as a high five, a fist bump, or a hug can suffice. Our hope is that our listeners will get something from this deep, honest, and real conversation from the viewpoint of both a Licensed Professional Counselors and a Licensed Social Worker. Stay tuned as we drop new content weekly. If you want to watch this episode we can be found at Try Not To Overthink it on Youtube.
