Episode 27: The Punisher (1989)

Before Thomas Jane, Ray Stevenson, and Jon Bernthal, we had the original Punisher, Dolph Lundgren! Due to the financial woes of its studio, The Punisher (1989) was a direct-to-video release in the United States while the rest of the world was blessed to see it on the big screen. A solid film, this movie has garnered a cult following despite being out-of-print and hard to stream (legally). The biggest crime against this movie is the lack of the iconic skull, but Dolph is Frank Castle.
