On this episode, Stephanie and Katie talk with two excellent albeit very different teachers and European affairs experts, Lorinc Redei and Michael Mosser, on how they handle global conflicts, such as Putin's war in Ukraine, in the classroom. When is it important to provide space for discussion about major world events in a class setting? How should earth-shattering news be handled if it has nothing to do with the course syllabus or is in no way connected to the subject being studied?
