Episode 27: Top 5 Inspirational Women

from Learning to Slay the Beasts Podcast · host learningtoslaythebeasts

I am always trying to keep myself motivated. Having a young daughter also makes me very conscious of the messages that she is receiving about being a girl and eventually a women. I want her to feel strong, empowered, and have the ability to be exactly who she wants to be. This makes me try even harder to make sure that I am consuming strong and inspirational women that have a value set and ethics that align with my own. I feel the responsibility to be a good role model for her, and having good role models for myself helps me. I thought it would be fun to share a current, but not forever, top 5 list list of inspirational women. My current top 5 are: 1) Michelle Obama; 2) Glennon Doyle (more on Episode 25); 3) Rachel Hollis (more on Episode 8); 4) Jen Hatmaker; 5) Elizabeth Gilbert (more on Episode 16).
