Episode 271: God Never Wastes A Hurt

Just like for some days now, I have been greatly encouraged by today’s Devotional Plan - Happy and Free- provided by Stonecreek Church via the Bible app I am using. And I would love to encourage you with it as well. It says - It’s mind-blowing how God can redeem bad things for good. We see this truth at the core of Jesus’ life and death. God took the brutality and evil of Jesus’ death on the cross and turned it into forgiveness for us.  His redeeming ways work for us too. God never wastes a hurt. Our brokenness is never in vain. He is constantly working through the worst to bring about His best.   How might God use your past pain to bring comfort to someone else who is hurting? Ask God to reveal someone who you can uniquely bring comfort to because of a past pain. The focal scriptural verse is Rom 8:28 “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭AMP‬‬ A supporting scriptural verse that came to my mind was 2 Corinths 1:4 and I read - “All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort. He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭TPT‬‬ Remember, in whatever circumstances you are facing, God never wastes a hurt. Your brokenness is never in vain. Let us pray Father I thank You for Your Word. I just want to say ‘thank You’ for the power of Your Word that changes lives- changing our lives, for the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name. Amen
