This was just one of the many gems dropped by Dante at his Son of The City book talk at Aemoba Records Berkeley on Saturday, July 8th. The former scrub/current author has been touring the country and chatting with hip hop luminaries like Just Blaze, B-Real, and Open Mike Eagle at each stop. How we got the call for the Bay Area leg of the tour I do not know but we definitely showed up and showed out. The three bad brothers that you know so well gathered around a small table with Dante and special guest Del The Funkee Homosapien to talk about Dante's stellar career and the state of hip hop generally.
