We’ve been told a few times that we talk about dicks a lot on our show. It’s probably true. But it’s not our fault… there’s always some zany story from somewhere in the world involving the male genitalia. Remember the guy in Russia that implanted a plastic wand in his member so he’d have a permanent boner? Or how about Channing Tatum’s unfortunate accident involving boiling hot water on the set of a movie he was shooting? And who can forget the guy — whose name escapes me at the moment — that won that small penis contest in New York? With so many penises in the news, we thought we’d focus on the long-neglected balls. Just last week we were talking about a dude willing to cut one of his off for $35,000. Now comes news of a recent study that found guys with smaller nuts make better fathers. The reasons why are fascinating. But what’s more fascinating is how they went about conducting the study. You’ll hear all about it later in the program. At the top though we have to tell you about the latest and greatest product offering from one Amazon merchant… Nicolas Cage pillow cases! Who wouldn’t want to sleep with the Wicker Man? Some purchasers of the console reported theirs being dead right out of the box! This drums up aggravating memories of the ‘red ring’ debacle with the Xbox 360. Still, not all is lost. Sony says it was less than half a percent of total units that were affected. And in Dallas, a few Walmart shoppers were treated to a FREE PS4 thanks to Cowboys’ receiver Dez Bryant. He strolled in, bought five of them and just gave them out to people waiting in line. If you enjoy playing games on your smartphone you’ve likely heard of one called TEMPLE RUN. Besides comics, books, cartoons, Internet memes and older movies, it looks like Hollywood is now turning to smartphone apps for silver screen inspiration. Judging by the plot of this movie as briefly described by Warner Bros., who is attempting to acquire the licensing, it could’ve been called anything else and just been a movie about a guy stealing artifacts from an ancient temple. We ‘run’ straight into a conversation about how these movies are getting made for one simple reason… because Tinseltown knows there’s a whole legion of people out there who will throw their money at this garbage, complain that it sucked, and then do it all over again when the next one comes out. Case in point: the TRANSFORMERS trilogy, soon to be quadrilogy. Lonnie Johnson, a former NASA engineer, won a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against Hasbro for unpaid royalties for the Super Soaker water gun he invented 25-years ago. We take a trip down memory lane and talk about the various models of Super Soakers we all owned as kids. And we wrap up this edition with Breaking News out of Detroit. No, it’s not a murder. Although, I’m sure several occurred there in the time it took me to read this story on-air. Just kidding… we love ya Detroit! The news involves a well-know strip club owner named Alan Markovitz. His wife of two-years cheated on him and the couple ended up divorcing. Markovitz bought the house next door to hers and installed a giant statue of a hand flipping her the bird. It faces her home and even has spotlights to light it up at nighttime. This is — for lack of a better word — epic. We and the chat room all hypothesize the measures we might go through to get back at a cheating ex. Charlie abstains so that this show can’t be used as evidence against him should the circumstance ever arise. That was probably a good idea.
