Episode #273: Top Gun: Maverick

Welcome everyone to the month of June! Today Mike and Matt chat about the highly anticipated 36 year sequel Top Gun: Maverick starring Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Miles Teller. Not air combat training topics include Mike is sick, Happy 80th Ma Hinshaw, and The Boys Season 3. Top Gun: Maverick had super high hopes especially being pushed back multiple years thanks to everyone’s new best friend COVID. Mike and Matt are happy to report that it delivered and then some! Top Gun: Maverick is a must see film in the theaters. It is shot incredibly well, has intense action, and a great story. The technical prowess to deliver such incredible real life flying shots is astonishing to say the least. There is also a lovely tribute to Val Kilmer/Iceman. We are not going to spoil anything but we sure do in the podcast. Go see this movie and bring your family and friends, it’s worth it! Matt with a record shattering two perfect ratings in a row gives Top Gun: Maverick 5 out of 5 Reels.
