Episode 274 Saying Goodbye with Foster Braun

It was the best of times… it was the worst of… Yeah, there’s really no cliche that fits here, other than the Boys II Men song “It’s so hard to say goodbye”. Our apologies (and fair warning ahead of time) that we all got pretty emotional during this one. It wasn’t easy to record it, and isn’t all that easy to listen to, either. A man who has been like a broadcasting grandfather to us over the years, Foster Braun, reached out and asked to come on our show one last time before his battle with cancer comes to an end. We obviously couldn’t say no to such a request… so we cleared the decks of any and all other guests for the night, strapped on our helmets because we knew it was going to be a rough ride, and off we went. We talked history, broadcasting and otherwise, radio vs podcasting, and what Foster wants people to remember about him more than anything else.
