Episode 278 - The AFTN Soccer Show (The Spice Of Life with guest Rob Friend)

Variety is the spice of life. Or say they say. Hopefully it is as we have a variety of subjects to cover in the latest episode of the AFTN Soccer Show. We kick things off in MLS by looking at the disaster that was Vancouver Whitecaps trip to Philadelphia. What went wrong? Were there any positives to take from such a result? Was this just a bad day at the office or something more troubling? All that is covered and more, plus we hear from both head coaches, Philadelphia's Jim Curtin and Vancouver's Carl Robinson Our feature interview this week is an in-depth chat with one of the owners of the new Victoria Canadian Premier League team, Rob Friend. We chat with Rob about all things CPL in BC, including the latest on what's happening with a team in the Fraser Valley and when we can expect to see a launch for the team in Victoria. We also bring you some World Cup chat as we look back at what's been an exciting week of shocks and big talking points, and friends of the show, Goldie Lookin' Chain are back in our Wavelength section with the official Wales 2018 World Cup anthem!
