Episode 278: The Holy Spirit Truly Guides 2- (My Dating Journey)

If you listened to my podcast published on the 20th of June, this year, titled The Holy Spirit Truly Guides, where I talked about how God led me by His spirit to stop the ungodly relationship I was in as advised in 2 Corinth 6:14-17. “Do not become united with people who do not believe in Christ. God has made you right with himself. Right and wrong cannot work together. Light and dark cannot join together. Christ will never agree with the Devil. People who believe in Christ are completely different from people who do not believe. Idols do not belong in God's house. Remember that we believers are the house of the God who always lives. This is what God has said: ‘I will make my home with them and I will live among them. I will be their God and they will be my people.’” ‭ Dennis and I both cried after informing him of my decision to stop our relationship. I added how Dennis surprisingly asked if I would change my mind if he gave his life to Christ - accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. If you wondered what happened when we eventually parted ways? What I did not mention was that Dennis eventually accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. Interesting right! Glory be to God. It was indeed a great, huge news to me! I met Dennis on my way home about four years afterwards. We were so excited to see each other and he informed me of his new found love and life in Christ. From last I knew, he was happily married and I am grateful to God that He led me to my wonderful husband as well. My husband found me! Halleluyah! You know - the Holy Spirit is still in the business of guiding and leading God’s children into all truth. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you are God’s child. “But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future].” ‭‭John‬ ‭16:13‬ ‭AMP‬‬ I just want to encourage you again today, in whatever decision you want to make, give room for God to guide you by His Spirit, for Him alone knows your boundary. “Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
