Episode 279: Movie News, Father of the Bride, The Blob (1958)

Alonso and Christy may be a little late for the ceremony, but we RSVPd yes to "Father of the Bride" on Breakfast All Day. We were both charmed by the latest version of this classic comedy, starring Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan, which is streaming on HBO Max. We also went back in time to 1958 to review "The Blob" in honor of our Movie House Shout-Out of the week, The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA. That's where much of the classic B-horror movie was shot, and it's where the annual Blobfest will take place July 8-10. Watch the movie with fellow "Blob" fans, then run screaming from the theater together in terror! Tickets are on sale now.
