Episode 28 - A Prayer to Begin the Year

The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? - Psalm 27As we step into a new year, we begin not with haste, but with prayer.This prayer was recorded on the first Sunday of the year as we gathered to thank God for His faithfulness from January 1st to December 31st, 2025. We reflect on the challenges that discouraged us, the moments that tested our faith, and yet the many ways God came through for us, both as individuals and as a church.We also commit the year into God’s hands, trusting Him for divine order, direction, and purpose. Though we know the enemy may contest what God has spoken, we stand confident that the Lord will speak through for His people.As we pray, we declare in faith that no gate will be closed before us, that every opportunity aligned with God’s will shall remain open.May this prayer strengthen your heart, align your spirit, and encourage you to walk into the year with confidence in God.Amen.
