Episode 283 – Savage Parents, Business And Youth Sports Is extreme aggression ever good? Yes, I believe it is. I’m not here to give lectures on being a good parent, but let’s talk about this a little bit. Over the weekend, I was at a giant sports tournament “Gus Macker” with over 800 teams this weekend. This is a really interesting business model and event. Where we live is one of the largest locations they hold this event. Basically, it’s a 3 vs. 3 basketball game for anyone. It’s just an amateur thing that anyone can do. But, I noticed something while we were here. The way parents react when their kids are playing even just a silly, not serious tournament. Some of these parents got out of control – they can just get weird sometimes. Back to the original question, in business, sometimes you need to go all out beast mode and dominate.
