Episode 284: Let the Holy Spirit Interrupt Your Schedule

Do you often take note of alert interruption of radio broadcasts, CDs or tapes whenever you’re driving?  I was on my way out recently, listening to one of my favourite radio channels when suddenly it was altered. There was interruption to give radio traffic update and alert.  I almost did not want to listen to the alert but felt I should.  Interestingly the information given was for the local area I was heading to. There was an accident and it had caused traffic jam.   Favourably, the traffic had not built up on the dual road  which I was on. I made u-turn before getting toward the motorway where the traffic jam started from.  There was another traffic alert couple of days after  and what came to mind was the blessed work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Christ believer. Just as the traffic alert is provided in the natural to make commuters to attain smooth journey; so the Holy Spirit is made available for us, to guide us through our journey in this world.  Planning a journey towards education, business career, marriage, parenting or what ever journey you desire or intend to make? Allow the Holy Spirit interrupt your plans and schedule. Remember to be alert to receive the  The Holy Spirit guides. He leads. He makes sense of what is to happen so that a Christ believer can live life a fulfilled life on a daily basis.  “But the Spirit will come. He is the one who shows people true things about God. When he comes, he will be a guide to you. He will help you to understand everything that is true. He will not speak on his own authority. He will tell you only what he hears from the Father.
