Episode 286 - Jake B's Story

Jake walked in as hesitant as I've seen anyone do, "block and parry", that's how I describe folks who want to explain how they are different than the usual guy and want to explain how the 12 steps can't possibly work for them. One of the top 5 myths we use to avoid recovery - "It won't work for me" Jake stayed long enough to hav his mind changed and a few weeks from this recording he will celebrate one year (6/27/22 sobriety date). Listen up and Jake will now convince you just how wrong he was, and by golly this thing does work! He's had a wild ride for sure, and IO'm super glad Jake is a part of my recovery.
