Affinity studied writing at SFSU and received her MFA from Columbia, and is the author of two books, The Illustrated Version of Things, which was published by Fiction Collective 2 in 2009, and her latest Mischling, which was published by the Hachette imprint Lee Boudreaux Books earlier this year.
