Episode 288: Are you struggling to find your purpose in life?

from Detox with Abi · host Abimbola Arawande

Myles Monroe of blessed memory once said in one of his books that ”when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable". God created everyone for a glorious purpose and the only way to find that purpose is to go to God. Firstly, have a relationship with God through the sacrifice He made available for us- His Son Jesus. Believing and confessing Him as one's Lord and Saviour. Secondly, develop and ignite your fellowship with the Lord. Study the Word, live a prayerful lifestyle communing with the Lord so you can know His mind for you at all times. “We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭21‬ ‭MSG‬‬ Endeavour to be faithful with little opportunities God opens up one's way. Opportunities to serve could be at home, the local church or workplace. I believe that when God sees one's faithfulness and loyalty with the little, He will open one up to a higher purpose. However, in some cases, God speak specifically to individual through vision, dream or prompting, I still believe that to get to one's wealthy place still requires faithfulness with the little - at home, local church, workplace etc.
