Episode 29 - Childhood Trauma

**Warning this episode talks about the effects of childhood trauma and its impact on adulthood. While most children grow up in families that provide them with safe, happy, and healthy environments, for others life can be challenging. The path of life is difficult, painful, and hard to navigate. Young infants and children have no control over what happens to them or events in their lives, that is up to the adult. The adult carers and people in our life that should be the most caring and comforting are not necessarily so. Childhood trauma is a major risk factor for the development of psychological and behavioural challenges later in life. Thank you for joining me today.
