Episode 29: Fonta Flora Brewery

from Beer For Thought · host beerforthought

Hello everyone! We are back with another beer filled episode featuring a brewery we've been dying to try. Special thanks to our friend Irie who procured us some during his travels. Fonta Flora Brewing is in the northern tip of Morganton, North Carolina and specializes in belgian inspired beers. We not only enjoyed some of their delicious offerings but we laughed, talked about Zach's near death experience, and Matt told another, "You know what this beer reminds me of" Story. Beer Line-up: Whippoorwill (Witbier brewed with Oranges, Coriander and Earl Grey Tea), Need a Hug (Appalachian Wild Ale with Blueberries and Elderberries), Big Shrug (Appalachian Wild Ale with Blackberries and Fennel), Float the Stars (Flanders-Inspired Sour Red Ale), and High Form of Consequence - Coffee (Stout), all by Fonta Flora Brewery. Local Spotlight: Rye Saison by Bombs Away Beer Company. Again, thanks Irie for getting us these beers! Please follow our buddy Irie_viewbrew on instagram! Break Segment is Flex by Jay Scribe.
