If you're a content creator, you probably dream of going viral, amirite?Here's the deal: it ain't what it's cracked up to be. For realies. Most creators who have gone viral agree - and while the attention can be great for some, for many it's challenging. Trolls. Bots. Skewed Algorithm. Larger, but now disengaged, audience. There is a tug-of-war in many of us between wanting to be seen and NOT being seen. In this (unscripted!) episode of Seared, I look at virality, but then get into this friction of seen/unseen. We examine this and the difference between acknowledgement and recognition and how you can learn to acknowledge yourself and others so that you can become a stronger leader and finer, more content, human being. Of course I will share a few things from the kitchen just to make it land better. We're frying up some goodness on this episode!
