Episode 29 - Old Fart Fashion Clothes - 16th February 2024

Happy Friday one and all! We are diving straight into the most important part of this special day, it’s national almond day! Hope you’ve got some crazy almond related activities planned to enjoy the day 🥜 On this day 100 years ago, old matey Howard Carter only went and unsealed King Tutankhamun’s tomb, leading to the widespread speculation of the curse of the mummy! There appears to be conflicting information on the date, some saying discovered in 1922 and unsealed in 1923, others saying unsealed in 1922. So that’s quite nice, if nobody definitively knows when they opened something as important as old King Tut’s final resting place, I doubt I need to worry so much about when I opened the houmous. We are discussing the crazy phenomena of time slips, hearing accounts from people who reported to have experienced such things on Liverpool’s very own Bold Street where our mail can be addressed forthwith as we will be pitching a tent there in the hopes that we can go and live in the 50’s for an hour to catch a bargain.
