Episode 29 - The Dark Knight Part 2 (1:38:02)
from Actual Anarchy Podcast - AnCap Movie Reviews from a Rothbardian Perspective · host Actual Anarchy
We're back at it again with our guest all the way from Adelaide. Shahin returns to discuss the back-half of the Christopher Nolan meat in the Batman trilogy sandwich, the Dark Knight. The second half of the Batman film, the Dark Knight starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. Prompted by the recent death of Adam West who played the campy 60's version of Batman, we take on this beast of a film. Considered by many to be one of the greatest comic book film adaptations ever (which might be expected when Christopher Nolan is at the helm). We bring on a special guest Shahin Mohammadi from Adelaide, Australia to go at it. For show notes and more, visit: www.actualanarchy.com/29 Presented by www.ActualAnarchy.com Robert and I analyze popular movies from a Rothbardian/AnarchoCapitalist perspective. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking. Discussion of the plot and decisions that characters make in relation to morality and violations of the non-aggression principle are our bread and butter. We also will highlight and discuss any themes or lessons from Austrian Economics that we can glean from the film. The point is to show what anarchy actually is with instances that are presented in film. We publish at least once per week; and occasionally will do specials surrounding holidays or events (elections/olympics) and have guests. SUBSCRIBE, RATE AND REVIEW ON APPLE PODCASTS
