Part 3: The trial of serial killer Roger Reece Kibbe begins, with trace evidence on trial as well and much riding on the testimony of a shaky key witness. Karma comes around for the Roger Kibbe, as Jill updates the Kibbe case, leading to several other homicide investigations. And as in done in 2ndCast, Jill pulls the threads alluded to in the story, that of the poisoned beauty queen and others murdered by serial killer, David Allen Rundle, that spilled into the I-5 investigation.
