a mix i put together a while back but decided not to publish. after a recent playback i decided to throw it out tho. its a nice mix of slow jams, love songs, soul, pop, etc. the reason i reconsidered this mix was because i was questioning my ear. it does not take anything special to play good sounding black soul music and i wasn't looking to be labeled as "that guy". after playing it again i have realized its not about relying on black music so much as it's about relying on good music. which in my opinion is predominately black music and i layered and mixed this with my own puerto rican-ness so it will always have that flavor. hope you enjoy.
