Episode 3: A Chat with Tim Steinemann, MD

In this episode, I sit down with a mentor who I have had the pleasure of getting to know through Twitter.  Dr. Tim Steinemann is a Ophthalmic clinician, surgeon, researcher, and teacher. His specialty is focused on corneal disease and transplant. He practices at MetroHealth In Cleveland, Ohio and is an affiliate of Case Western Reserve University where he teaches residents in ophthalmology. He is a renowned advocate and voice in the ophthalmology community. It was my pleasure to have him talk about his insights on what mentorship and advocacy mean to him. His enthusiasm for ophthalmology is matched by his belief that we are all lifelong learners. I'm excited that he will be joining me again in a week to go into more depth on topics such as social media, surgery, overcoming adversity,  what to look for in a residency program, and the importance of having your own brand!
